Pre-school Committee

The Management of our setting

Meadowlands pre-school is a committee led setting comprising of parents of whose children attend the setting. This ensures our parents have a say and some control over the running of our pre-school.

We are also a registered charity therefore a non profit making organisation. Any money raised is invested back into our setting, resources, building and overheads.

Our parents and families are encouraged to partisipate in our social and fundraising events throughout the year.

The committee is responsible for:
 

•  Managing the setting’s finances;
•  Employing and managing the staff;
•  Ensuring that the setting has – and works to – policies that help it to provide a high quality service; and
•  Ensure that the setting works in partnership with the children’s parents.

The Annual General Meeting is open to all parents of the children who attend the setting. It is our shared forum for looking back over the previous year's activities and shaping the future of the pre-school.
